After what seems like 1000's of calls, messages and emails regarding the 2024 night permits with TAA to include Big Apley Pool, Trench Pool, and the Priorslee Flash, Telford Angling Association can now give an update for all those wishing to get their hands on one of these.
The way you obtain one of these is exactly the same as the previous years and due to the amount of dishonest people we have had in the past, we have had to make some ground rules to ensure fairness across the board.
One ticket per person. You cannot collect an application for others as there is a limited amount of applications and it is not fair to those who took the time to get to the collection place on the date and time specified.
No queue jumping. If you turn up later than anyone else, and you jump the queue by either barging in, or "standing by your mate who claims to have saved you a spot", you will be either asked to go to the back of the queue, or be told you cannot collect a form.
No completing forms on behalf of others. you can only apply for your own needs.
Night permits will only be completed and issued once the application is filled out correctly, has a "head and shoulders" photograph of the applicant (on a plain background), and fee paid by the deadline.
Please do not pester TAA with requests for extra tickets. Once they are gone....
Any un-claimed or under applied for spots will be communicated to all if/and when this happens.
If any person failed to collect their permit from the previous year, they will automatically void their application on this years tickets.
EDIT: IF YOU WANT TO NIGHT FISH ONE, TWO, OR THREE OF THE PERMIT POOLS, THEN YOU MUST AQUIRE A TICKET FOR EACH OF THE THREE POOLS. ONE PERMIT DOES NOT COVER ALL OF THE POOLS.
Along with the above which must be followed to obtain your ticket, all ticket holders must agree to the night permit rules, which are add-ons to the normal TAA rules (https://www.telfordanglingassociation.org/association-rules) which are highlighted below!
