Randlay Pool
"A large pool set within the grounds of the old Randlay Brickworks"
Randlay Pool is set within the outskirts of the Telford Town Park. The pool was the former main water source used by the former Randlay Brickworks.

The pool is longer than it is wide, and can only be fished on one side due to the other side belonging to the council and Telford Town Park.

Randlay Pool has a good mixed list of species with good numbers of silvers as well as carp.

Randlay Pool is not an "easy" water, but those that put the time in and find the fish have great results.

Baits And Methods On Randlay?
Whether you're a course anger, or you favour carp or Pike fishing tactics, you can have a great day's fishing on Randlay Pool.
If you are targeting Roach, Perch and Bream, you cant beat the usual course fishing methods such as Waggler (float) , Feeder and Bomb tactics. Maggots, Casters, Hemp, a good quality groundbait, pellets, sweetcorn and small bandable boilies and wafters will always get the attention of the fish in Randlay Pool.
If you are targeting the many good sized carp, with carp fishing tactics, many of the best fish are caught using PVA bags with pellet, particle feed with boilies, wafters and pop-ups on the hook.
Spodding is allowed on the pool.

Deadbaits (course and Sea) are best used for the Pike in the pool. Lures can and do work also however, there are many tree that surround the pool and the pegs in general.
